PAYMENT OPTIONS

Domestic Orders: We offer a range of convenient payment options to ensure a smooth transaction. You can pay using Visa, American Express, Master Card, Discover, or opt for a bank wire transfer. To make things even easier, we will include our bank wire information on your invoice.

It's important to keep in mind that we require the billing address and shipping address to match in order to proceed with processing your order. This verification step helps us ensure the accuracy and security of your transaction.

International Orders: We ask that you complete your payment via bank wire transfer. After placing your order, you will receive an email containing the necessary instructions to successfully process and confirm your payment. Please note that you have a 48 hour window from the date of your web order to complete the payment.

We display our prices in US Dollars, and your account will be charged in US Dollars as well. The exchange rate applied to your transaction will be determined by the bank you use to initiate the wire transfer.

WEB ORDER CANCELLATIONS

Elita allows customers a grace period of 48 hours from the time a web order is placed to cancel the order if needed. Any cancellation request made within this time frame will be honoured. However, once the 48 hour period has elapsed, the web order cannot be cancelled and will proceed with processing as originally requested.

It is important to note that all bespoke pieces are considered final sale, which means they are non-returnable and non-refundable.

HOW TO CLEAN YOUR FINE JEWELleRY AT HOME

For effective jewellery cleaning, follow these steps. Begin by soaking your jewellery in a mixture of plain dish soap (avoiding anything with moisturising elements) and warm water. Alternatively, you can use an at-home jewellery cleaner, but ensure it is suitable for your specific pieces by checking the label.

After soaking, gently scrub the stones and the areas beneath the settings using a soft bristled toothbrush. This will help remove any dirt or grime accumulated on the jewellery.

Next, rinse the jewellery thoroughly with clean water to remove any soap or cleaning solution residue.

To ensure the jewellery is completely dry, carefully dry it using a soft, lint-free cloth or allow it to air dry. Keep in mind that soft gemstones like pearls, opals, and emeralds require extra care as they can be easily damaged. Avoid using warm water and dish soap for cleaning these types of stones. Instead, refer to the instructions provided with your at-home jewellery cleaner to determine if it is safe for these gemstones.If you have any doubts or concerns about cleaning certain types of stones, remember that we are always happy to professionally clean any pieces you have purchased exclusively from Elita.

YOUR SWISS WATCH WARRANTY

Congratulations on the purchase of your new Swiss timepiece from our esteemed collection. To demonstrate our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, we provide the following warranty for you new Swiss watch:

WARRANTY COVERAGE
All watches are covered by a manufacturer's warranty from the certificate card or document issue date. 

Richard Mille offers a unique 3 year with addition on request 2 year warranty concept.  
Patek Philippe offers a 2 year warranty from the date of purchase and certificate issue.
Audemars Piguet offers a 2 year warranty with an option to extend to 5 years from certificate card date. 
Rolex offers a 5 year warranty from the date of purchase, and certificate card issue date. 
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use.

WARRANTY SERVICES
In any case of defects covered by the warranty, we will repair or replace the watch, at our discretion covered under limited warranty.The warranty services will be provided by our in house or external contract watch masters, authorised service centres or by the respective brands official service centres. Repairs or replacements may take place using genuine parts or suitable alternatives approved by the brand.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS
In the event of a warranty claim, please present your proof of purchase (receipt or warranty card) with ELITA and we will process the repair, service or replacement promptly. The timepiece should be accompanied by the original packaging and any additional items provided at the time of purchase.We recommend contacting our client service centre for specific instructions and to ensure a smooth and efficient warranty claim process.EXCLUSIONSThis warranty is valid only for watches, high jewellery and collectibles purchased from ELITA.

The warranty does not cover batteries, straps, bracelets, crystals, or any other components considered to be consumable or subject to wear.Please note that this warranty statement outlines the general terms and conditions for our Swiss watches, including Richard Mille, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet and Rolex.  Specific warranty details and any additional brand-specific conditions will be provided within the documentation accompanying your timepiece.

ELITA WARRANTY ON PRE-OWNED TIMEPIECES

Elita thoroughly checks the mechanics and movements of all pre-owned timepieces before offering them for consideration. We offer a 1 year warranty on pre-owned timepieces purchased through Elita. This warranty covers certain mechanical issues that may become known only after the client wears it for an extended period. Each watch is covered on a case-by-case basis, at the sole discretion of Elita

OUR ADJUSTMENT POLICY

RING SIZING: Elita offers one complimentary ring sizing for each ring purchased from us. A ring requiring sizing more than once will incur a sizing fee of $50 to $100 depending on the piece to cover labour costs. Certain rings will not be eligible for sizing due to the nature of their construction. If this is the case, you will be made aware prior to completing your purchase.

BRACELET LENGTH ADJUSTMENT: At Elita, we provide one complimentary bracelet length adjustment per bracelet purchased. However if a bracelet needs to be adjusted more than once, there will be a resizing fee ranging from $50 to $100, depending on the piece, to cover our labour costs. Please note that certain bracelets cannot be adjusted in length due to their construction. If this is the cause you will be made aware of this prior to completing your purchase.

NECKLACE LENGTH ADJUSTMENT: Elita provides one complimentary necklace length adjustment per necklace purchased. However if a necklace needs to be adjusted more than once, there will be a resizing fee ranging from $50 to $150, depending on the piece, to cover our labour costs. If a necklace with surrounding diamonds or gemstones needs to be lengthened, our team will provide you with a quote for the additional carat weight needed for the requested length. Certain necklaces will not be eligible for adjustment due to the nature of their construction. If this is the case, you will be made aware of this prior to completing your purchase.

OUR REPAIRS POLICY

Elita provides a one (1) year complimentary replacement service for pavé diamonds that may become loose due to regular wear. The delicate nature of pavé work requires tiny prongs to secure the small stones, which can wear down over time and cause the stones to dislodge. Within the first year of your purchase, we will replace any loose stones at no cost. However, after one year, we charge a flat fee of $100 for replacing missing stones. Additionally, while your piece is being repaired, we offer complimentary cleaning and polishing services.

Elita reserves the right to determine the replacement fee for larger stones in fine jewellery pieces, including those from designer brands and ELITA designs. The fee will be determined after a thorough examination of the piece by Elita.

Elita provides complimentary services for refurbishing fine jewellery pieces, including deep cleaning, polishing, and tightening of loose stones, for all Elita designs purchased from us. However, designer jewellery pieces may require a refurbishing fee, which is determined at the discretion of the respective designers. If you have any inquiries about the refurbishing fee for designer jewellery, please contact us.

Appointments

Once we receive your initial deposit, we will start collecting the suitable diamonds or gemstones and preparing any other necessary materials for your review and discussion.

If you are local to New York City, we will arrange an in-person appointment for you to meet one of our specialists personally. They will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of what you will be observing and discussing, giving you an in-depth education on diamonds, gemstones, and the construction of our pieces. It is crucial for us to ensure that you comprehend the aspects involved so that you can make well-informed decisions.

If you are not located in New York City, one of our specialists will contact you using your preferred method of communication to schedule a phone or video appointment. Alternatively, if you prefer, we can continue our process through email.

After meeting or conversing with your specialist and exploring all the options presented to you, you will collaborate to determine the next steps. This may involve adjusting your search criteria to explore different possibilities or selecting the stone you adore right away, giving us the green light to proceed with creating your piece!
